Birds of a Feather, Soup Together

A little peacocking never hurt anyone! This vintage beauty from Seltmann Weiden (Bavaria, Germany) features vibrant blue and green peacocks nestled among delicate pink blossoms, all set against creamy white porcelain with elegant gilded accents. Graceful handles, a softly fluted lid, and an ornate pedestal base bring plenty of old-world charm, while a clever ladle opening makes this piece as functional as it is fabulous.

Traditionally reserved for soups and stews, this versatile tureen is ready for a modern second act. Think mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for holiday hosting, chilled gazpacho for summer entertaining, or even an unexpected floral centerpiece.
